What do you do when a beautiful 14 day old baby girl won’t go to sleep? Photographer her awake, of course! We had such amazing light coming in a huge window and she was a champ. Thanks for the opportunity to spend time with this little wonder!
You just cannot beat the light during a Colorado sunset! We met at Purple Park in Superior for this session. It started out wonderfully, then we were chased to our cars by rain. Knowing that our summer rain showers rarely last long, we waited it out, and were rewarded with more time to play, run and have fun in the park. Thanks guys for spending your evening with me!
This session was bittersweet for me. I was thrilled to be able to photograph one of my favorite families, but sad to see them moving away. We shot these photos literally the day before they left, but we did have fun! Leaving Colorado meant leaving the mountains, so we knew they had to be represented in their photos. A quick change of clothes and change of location lent a more casual tone to the second half of our morning. I’m so happy we had the chance to get these before the big move. You will all be missed!
One of the sessions I’m most excited to offer is called a Time Capsule. I have a passion for documenting the little everyday details of my own family’s life and I love helping other families do the same. Usually we think about taking photos of the big life events – birthdays, vacations, Christmas, – but it’s the everyday moments we will long to remember down the road. This day, we were able to capture breakfast, hanging out around the house, getting ready for softball and baseball games, and a trip to the park. I hope these photos will bring back wonderful memories of the extraordinary ordinariness of life. Thanks for sharing your day with me!
